Different types of Heart Disease
Heart disease leads to various conditions affecting the heart. Coronary heart disease is a common heart disease, where there is a development of plaque in the arteries leading to reduced flow of blood to the heart and raising the risk of a heart attack.
Arrhythmias:
Irregular heartbeat. Smoking, heavy alcohol use, and the use of any drugs are common causes for arrhythmia.
Heart failure:
When the heart is not capable to pump oxygen-rich blood to tissues. Heart’s incapacity to pump blood and lack of blood in the heart may lead to heart failure.
Heart valve disease:
When one or any of the other four heart valves are not working.
Heart Muscle Disease:
The heart misses its ability to pump blood when the walls of the heart become thick.
Congenital Heart Disease:
A difficulty in the structure of the heart that is present at birth.
